Gainsborough Group have a detailed planning application pending for up to 30 new homes off of Wesley Lane in Southwick
We are excited to have acquired the Wesley Lane field and look forward to working closely and collaborating with both the Southwick Village Parish Council and Wiltshire planning in requirements, design and planning for a scheme of new homes to be built within the village.
Central to the schemes design will be a stunning lake with landscaped features providing both residents and the village with a great new amenity space. Significant additional amenity land will be allocated within the site supporting the existing biodiversity with dedicated nature spaces that can also be enjoyed by the residents of the village.
Our aim is to work closely with the village neighbourhood plan team in providing at least 8 of the 30 homes as allocated with discount for local residents and their families.
We plan to ensure that the site design and access plans ensure that the immediate neighbours to the field will benefit from new drainage designs to improve conditions in the winter months. Additionally, we plan a scheme of perimeter planting and with the larger plot sizes, the new homes will be built with discretion and privacy in mind as appropriate for this tranquil village lane setting.
